Nautical Professional Education Society of Canada

The NPES is a "Registered Society" in Canada with the goal of furthering the professional  education of Canadian mariners. The Society works closely with the Pacific Marine Training Centre (PMTC), British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), Camosun College, North Island College, other Canadian educational institutions, with ship-owners/operators and employment agencies to provide junior ship's officers career opportunities on Canadian and foreign flag ships.  The Society is a member of the Coalition of Maritime Organisations on Education, chaired (Tony Roper) through the offices of  Chamber of Shipping of British Columbia.

Presently, the Society does not have a website but we hope to have it up and running in the near future.  If you need more information on the Society please contact Dave Whitaker Chairman or Brian Silvester Secretary / Treasurer.
